Stephen Curry helps Under Armour make 1 Billion in a quarter

So, Under Armour reported a 30% jump in revenue the last quarter, and they say its thanks to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors historic season. According to reports, Curry's signature UA sneakers have been selling better than Nike signature shoes that includes Lebron's. With the Curry 2's priced at $130 and The Lebron 13's usally at around $160 you can see why. People like to save a few bucks. Also, I noticed a lot of the younger kids are Curry fans these days. I'm sure their parents are happy to know they'll be saving some money going for the more affordable sneaker, from one of the NBA's brightest stars and new face of the League.

Could the Heat and Cavaliers meet in the Eastern Conference Finals?

So The Miami Heat have just been dominating the Hornets thus far. I'm happy about it, but it's surprising. The teams split the season series and seemed pretty evenly matched. Rookies Josh Richardson and Justise Winslow are really earning their stripes right now. Whiteside has been in beast-mode as usual. And Wade? Man, he's been playing lights out. Pretty much everyone is contributing Dragic, Amare, and Deng. This team is finally figuring out who they are. If the Raptors come out on top against Pacers, I would expect that to be a tough match up for us. Still, the Heat should be able to get through either the Pacers or Raptors, leaving them on a crash course with the Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers have the easiest road ahead of them is you ask me. We all know the Celtics nor Hawks are any match for them as proven in last year's playoffs. I thought the Pistons would be able to play them a little tougher, because they can keep themselves in games often. The Cavs have been shooting well from three, and the Pistons have no way of stopping it. Lebron... Well he was Lebron posting his usual digits. Stanley Johnson of Detroit has also been playing some good defense on Lebron, not showing any fear. Have to commend him for that. This Piston's team are some scrappers so I expect them to keep fighting.

Miami though did win 2 out of the 3 games against Cleveland this season. With both being by double digits. These teams match up well against each other and an Eastern Conference Finals with them in it will be the shit that movies are made of. Think of all the story lines the sports media will be shoving in our faces if this series were to come to fruition. Put it like this the NBA, Miami, and Cleveland will make a lot of money. Kyrie 2 Triple Red... And Playoff talk.

These Kyrie 2 Triple Red's are fire. I like plain colorways and this is definitely my style. On another note I think this next game between the Cav's and Pistons will be close, but I still think the Cav's will come out on top. I wouldn't be surprised if the Pistons take at least 1 game at home though. They play some good team ball.

Tonight is also Game 2 of the Miami Heat and Charlotte Hornets playoff series. I was definitely expecting a close game for Game 1, but the Heat thrashed the Hornet. The teams split the season series and the Hornets have been hot since the All Star break so I expect the series to tighten up as it goes on.

Golden State is going to beat the Rockets down again!

So the Heat beat the Hornets down which I did not expect. I knew we would win, but not by such a large margin. I am kind of pissed that Hassan Whiteside was snubbed, everything in the NBA is a popularity contest. Now, on to other matters I wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors sweep the Rockets. Houston is just no match for them with Beverly, Ariza, and Howard you would think they would be a decent defensive team, but they are horrible. Golden State is a well oil machine, they proved that by beating the Spurs twice during the last few games of the season.

The Spurs are said to be the only team that can compete with them, but I dont think the Spurs will last in a 7 game series with them. The Warriors will definitely come out of the West. I see the East as more wide open, because there are several teams that can challenge the Cavaliers in a 7 game series.
I think Miami and Toronto can be a tough match for them. Detroit will surely continue to play them tough as well.

Way of Wade 4 Screw

 I'm definitely feeling these Dwade's. I know he's gonna rock something crazy tonight for the first playoff game. This series is against an evenly matched team. The Hornets have been doing good since the All Star break, and they've also been shooting well. Like I said in a previous post I still think the Heat can take the series in 6. Hopefully, sooner than that.Looking at the East I expect these to be some real competitive games. Don't sleep on the Trail Blazers for reason I like how they play. That's also the team I play with in 2K.

NBA Playoffs... Who You Got???

The NBA Playoffs is here, and at the time of this writing the Pacers have beaten the Raptors 100-90. The Warriors are spanking the Rockets 99-73 with 3:00 left in the 4th. I guess Golden State isn't slowing down anytime soon. Are we witnessing a dynasty? Will they repeat? My team is and always will be the Heat. We should be able to advance past the Hornets, even though they are a tough match up I think we can get it 4-2. Who do you have in the playoffs? Rep your team.

The Kobe Mamba Day 11 iD's look like a classic shoe to me. To top it off Kobe scored 60 points in his last game. It was probably the greatest last game ever in terms of just giving it your all. Warriors break all time NBA single season record 73 wins!!

The Warriors have broken the NBA single season record of 72-10 previously set by the '95-'96 Chicago Bulls. I was a kid when that record was set, but actually getting a chance to witness history it felt so special. Even though I am a Miami Heat fan I can appreciate what the Warriors have been doing. This team looks like they are set to become a dynasty and I hope it happens. I also hope that they don't start to suffer from the "disease of more" as Pat Riley calls it. Basically meaning everyone starts getting greedy when the championships and wins start piling up.

Kobe Bryant's Final Career Game

I still cant believe this is Kobe's last game. When I was younger I disliked Kobe's game because he modeled it so much off of Jordan's style. As time has gone on I have learned to appreciate his tenacity and competitiveness. He has had an excellent career and I consider him by far and wide the No. 2 greatest SG to ever play the game.
